Dominique Schilder, also known as “Coach D,” is a mother to 3 children. She has over a decade of experience in youth and parental engagement, having led various youth groups and provided counselling services. She dedicates her weekends to nurturing the potential of children. In addition to her professional commitments, Dominique is a proactive advocate for peace and human dignity, serving as a Mental Health Wellness Champion within her workplace at the University of Cape Town.

Her journey began during her tenure as a guidance counsellor at a local high school, where she worked with older youth. This experience ignited the realization of the importance of prevention and early intervention with younger children, equipping them with essential tools before they transition to high school. Dominique is characterized by her passion and drive, directing her energy towards meaningful solutions for genuine societal issues concerning children.
